My experience. My commitment to CAPE members.
I am an incumbent CAPE EC Director and Director of CAPE Local 503 at Statistics Canada. I was elected to the National Executive Committee for the 2024–2026 term and am seeking re-election for 2027–2029.
I have worked at Statistics Canada since 1997 and have been a CAPE member for almost 30 years. As Director of CAPE Local 503 at Statistics Canada, I remain connected to the workplace questions and concerns members bring forward.
My experience in a large federal organization has shaped a practical approach to union representation: understand how institutions work, stay close to members’ workplace realities, ask clear questions and follow through.
During my first NEC term, I served on CAPE’s Finance Committee. I worked to ensure that member resolutions carried clear financial costs so members could understand the consequences of proposals before voting.
I am based in Ottawa. I am seeking another term to advance member rights, improve transparency and keep CAPE’s national attention and resources focused only on workplace issues.
